The Mental Health Resource League of McHenry County has been quietly doing important work since 1967. We're an all-volunteer nonprofit with a simple but powerful mission: raise funds and put them directly into the hands of local organizations providing mental health services to our community.

Over the decades, we've awarded more than $7 million in grants to 13 mental health agencies across McHenry County — funding crisis hotlines, youth programs, counseling services, and more. Every dollar stays in the community (but not every dollar comes from our community).

We don't have a staff or a big budget for overhead. What we have is a dedicated group of volunteers who believe that mental health support should be available to everyone in McHenry County, regardless of their circumstances.
